In 1501, the king Sho Shin ordered the building of Tamaudun to rebury his late father King Sho En. Later years, Tamaudun became to serve as royal mausoleum for the 2nd Sho Dynasty. There are three chambers inside, and it resembles the palace with thatched roof at that time.
